The space race came and left, and now there's thousands of little colonies and communities with bits of old Earth still clinging to them.

When summer rolls in, in 1830, there's brewing revolution in two communities. Lorena Station, a company town, curling around a moon and fetid with deferred maintenance was slowly coming to a boil. And in one of the Paris communities, some young men found the evidence a compelling argument for revolution.

Space is huge, but it's not as large as you think.
