In the aftermath of the unrest in Paris IV, multiple questions have arisen. The arrests of the protestors and the gradual return to calm has caused the events to leave the public eye, but it doesn't seem like that's entirely a good idea.

One cannot deny that the bread shortages seem to have been deliberate.

One cannot deny that there is video evidence of the people who were to blame for those warehouses of flour and bread.

And, one would be blind to not notice the insignia on our mysterious bread hording hoodlums is the same as the uniforms of some of those secret police on Lorena Station. In those clandestine audio recordings, there's a man asking about something in the sewer system of Lorena Station. The police in Paris IV swear the rebels vanished into the sewers and catacombs beneath the city.

Unrest is occurring in other colonies. A small firefight broke out on Paris IV during a riot, and ExtSec maintained calm.

There are rumors that there are videos of the last days on Lorena station being posted on newsletters. Obviously, all materials should be submitted to the inspector for privacy and untainted evidence reasons. Assume all materials on the internet could be edited.

All former Lorena Station miners are being offered new positions in the company, pending interviews, and temporary half wages.

Yvette Moore is formerly requested to answer questions with the inspector. She has not replied.

"And now, a tape from Clarion, an anonymous Victorian reporter," says Patty Harris.

The tape begins -

Recently, during protests in Paris IV, shots were fired.

So far, there's been three convincing stories as to what happened. First, there has been some wild accusations that strike breakers opened fire. Unlike the messy strike negotiations in Victoria, there seems to be no evidence of this.

Secondly, people have blamed the police for firing warning shots, resulting in bullets hitting at least three people.

Finally, a story that an unknown person fired at least three shots. One hit a bystander. The police swiftly acted, and by mutual agreement, the protests were ended for the day.

Comparing this to the protests in Lorena Station, )

As rumors that Lorena Station may get permanently closed and the dust seems to settle without any arrests from either side of the coin, one can began to look into the theories, lies, and truths from this round of civic unrest.

Or was it an uprising? )

The anniversary of the coup in Lidavia always brings refugees lighting candles in churches, quiet memorial services, and, sad to say, violence. With three regime changes as uncles, radicals, and the army fight for power, it seems highly unlikely that peace is possible in the near future.

It's hard to imagine )
